WILL SINGAPORE STOCKS CONTINUE ITS RALLY?

Singapore Stocks Dear readers, the Singapore Stocks STI reached an intra-year low of 3,102.73 on 12 Sep 18. Thereafter, the STI has rebounded such that the STI closed at 3,217.68 on 21 Sep 2018 or an approximate 3.70% increase from the intra-year low. The question now for Singapore investors is whether the rebound of STI will continue from here?
As we could see on the macro horizon, there are not enough bullish factors for a good reason as to why the Singapore stocks should continue to go back to the levels before its recent stocks markets corrections. The main key factor is trade tensions between the US and China and there are others like the US Federal Reserves’ interest rate hike, the financial risks from the emerging markets and some geo-political factors from Europe. Oil prices could be another reason.

With so many factors for investors to consider, I believe investors should wait for some clarity before taking new positions in the stocks markets.
