STOCK IN FOCUS: F&N STOCK

F&N stock
Dear readers, the National Day Rally has highlighted that the government and Singaporeans together must do more in the war against diabetes. Recommended measures include cutting down one’s intake of soft drinks.

NATIONAL DAY RALLY: STOCKS OF FOCUS

Today, Prime Minister Lee will deliver his National Rally. In PM’s National Day message, PM Lee has said that he would elaborate on three themes in his National Day Rally and these are early children education, efforts against diabetes and Smart Nation Initiatives. As shared in an earlier post , I believe based on the above themes, the following stocks will be stocks of focus post-National Day Rally:

[BEFORE BEST WORLD] A SIMILAR GROWTH STOCK SAGA

Best World stock
Dear readers, in my previous post, I shared about the Best World stock saga and explained to the effect that growth stocks investors should not always look at one side of the story that their growth stocks will always follow an expected or much talked-about growth trajectory, much to the exclusion of other factors which may shape stocks. I highlighted that growth stocks are also ordinary stocks and who say that their conferred status of growth stock is a perennial status?

BEST WORLD STOCK: LESSON FOR GROWTH INVESTORS

Best World stock

WHAT A READER TOLD TOM K ABOUT THIS POTENTIAL MULTI-BAGGING STOCK?

Accrelist
Dear readers, yesterday, I posted a post titled “OCBC Securities a major shareholder in this penny stock” (you can read or revisit the post here ). On the same day (i.e. yesterday), I received an email from a reader about his comments on the above post.

BUSY DAYS AT WORK

I have been extremely busy at work, juggling many portfolios at once and it does not help when the boss said all these portfolios are urgent and with that, it can be quite challenging prioritizing. And amidst all these urgent and important work are the daily “fire fighting” tasks to settle. It can be overwhelming at times but I know that I have to take it as I am an employee.

A LOOK AT A NEW MEGA TREND FOR SINGAPORE

Dear readers, as you know, Singapore is aiming to become a cashless society and various banks have banded together for a initiative called PayNow. PayNow currently allows consumers to effect payments among customers and plans are on the card to elevate this level of financial transaction to between consumers and industries. When that is done, Singapore will be on a firmer footing into realizing its vision of a cashless society.

OCBC SECURITIES A MAJOR SHAREHOLDER IN THIS PENNY STOCK

Accrelist
Dear readers, OCBC Securities Private Limited has a 17.21% in this penny stock company, making it the second largest shareholder of the company after the Executive Chairman. Are the above of interest to you: the fact that a financial institution and the top man are the largest shareholders of the company? What if I further add that the Executive Chairman has been buying stocks on a very regular basis? Does it interest you even more? For though there are many reasons for the management of a listed company selling his own stocks, there is no doubt only one reason why the top management of a listed company will buy his own company’s shares: he is confident of the company’s business.
