Dear readers, the widely-touted Amazon of Africa, Jumbia Technologies will debut trading on the US NYSE bourse today. Jumbia Technologies has priced its stock in the range of USD $13 to USD $16 per share. And I believe there will be some hype to this stock on the IPO day itself since some investors will look to Jumbia Technologies stock as the Amazon stock of Africa against the backdrop of a still largely untapped market in the African continent. As with some starts-up of this size and scale, Jumbia is yet unprofitable.
