TOM K’S RECOMMENDED STOCKS PICKING STRATEGY FOR YEAR 2018 [PART 1]

Singapore stocksDear readers, how has your investing or trading in Singapore stocks markets so far for Year 2018? If you have not invested your monies into new positions on the Singapore stocks markets, you need not hurry for we are just into the second trading day of Year 2018. You will have lots of opportunities to invest in the Singapore stocks markets, especially when the Singapore stocks markets present an opportunity to buy stocks on the cheap.

I have been wanting to share with readers my recommended stocks picking strategy for Year 2018. However, this is with conditions. First, always note that investors should do their own due diligence when it comes to investment for one must always be responsible for their hard-earned monies. Second, please do not copy what I share for my recommended stocks strategy is based on my views and my views may not always turn out to be correct. The stocks markets like what they always say is round like the ball.

I believe I have lots to share on my insights into Singapore stocks investing for Year 2018, away from what analysts have been doling out in their analyst reports for Year 2018. Hence I have broken this sharing into more nugget-size articles (by Parts); thought that will make the consumption of my sharing easier for you reader.

Are you ready for my sharing? If ready, please reply with a resounding “Yes!”

Okay, first of all, you must have read a lot of financial analysts being bullish with blue-chip stocks going forward to Year 2018 and there are some recommended stocks names. But to make the whole point short: in my very humble opinion, I believe blue-chip stocks had a good rally for Year 2017 and for this year, capital gains may not be as much as one would expect for Year 2017. And in light of the aforementioned, it is not easy to spot which of the many blue-chip stocks will be clear winners. Hence my recommended strategy is that if one is to want to invest in blue-chip stocks for Year 2018, my suggestion is to invest in the broad-based STI ETF which tracks the Singapore stocks markets in general and have your monies in this ETF when this ETF trends down.
