WILL YOU STILL INVEST INTO THIS STOCK?

Dear readers, yesterday, Sembcorp Marine stock posted an almost 12% drop in its share price, prompting an enquiry from the SGX about this price movement. As of this time in writing, Sembcorp Marine stock is now up 5.49% in its stock. All of the price movements today as well as yesterday in Sembcorp Marine stock were without any corporate announcements or news and hence I believe investors into this stock should exercise any investment action on this stock with caution.
No doubt, Sembcorp Marine stock still has the possible narrative of being acquired and delisted but the recent stocks markets corrections, coupled with the share movement of Sembcorp Marine stock would have sent many investors of this stock jittery. On 5 Feb 2018, I have sold one stock ahead of Singapore’s stocks markets heading south (to rcap, please read this post here)  and this stock is none other than Sembcorp Marine stock. This is because then I sensed the bigger market narrative of correction versus a more speculative privatization perspective. As investors, one should always know when to exit and when to enter the stocks markets on another day to profit.
