800 SUPER STOCK: A WASTE-RELATED STOCK WHICH COULD BE SUPER OR BECOME WASTE IN STOCK PRICE AGAIN?

800 Super Stock
Dear readers, yesterday, 800 Super Holdings stock, a typically quiet waste-related stock dived 25% after announcing a set of non-rosy results before closing the trading day 18.8% lower. 800 Super Holdings stock has had a SUPER run from the day of its listing on SGX to a peak in 2017 before yesterday’s stock price dive put to WASTE the SUPER run of this WASTE-related stock called 800 SUPER stock (all PUN 101% intended).
Looking at the depressed stock price, is it a SUPER time to invest in 800 Super stock else it will be a WASTED opportunity? Or will all the stellar rally in 800 Super stock been put to WASTE with yesterday’s plunge in stock price? I do not have the answer but since refuse will always be generated in Singapore, the sector 800 Super Stock is in seems pretty defensive. It is only when we consider that “Zero Waste” is the overall aim of Singapore in tackling then we may consider whether over the longer term, 800 Super Holdings is a stock to hold for the long term.

For those interested in waste-related industries, one may consider Keppel Infrastructure Trust which holds a portfolio of waste, waste-water related entities. But do in mind that like for many of the industries here, there is a cap to the Singapore’s markets here and risks in terms of leveraged debts do exist for companies venturing to capture a slice of the overseas markets.
