As could be seen from the chart on the left:

a) Oversold STI stocks (in brown) include Genting Singapore and SIA.

b) Overbought STI stocks (in green) include OCBC, SATS, UOB, Wilmar International and Yangzijiang International

Oversold stocks do not necessary mean that it is cheap to buy now. Overbought stocks do not necessary mean it is expensive to buy now. It is just a basis of metric but it is useful as part of investor's reference when it comes to investing decisions.
