THREE FACTORS SHAPING SINGAPORE STOCKS MARKETS NEXT

Singapore Stocks
Dear readers, here is a quick look at the three factors which will likely shape Singapore Stocks markets next.

1. First, US stocks closed lower last Friday and this sentiment that the US stocks markets are still volatile would likely spill over to the local and regional stocks markets when they open later. The Singapore stocks markets as measured by the STI has been making rather decent and humble recovery last week but with last Friday’s showing of the US stocks markets, a recovery may not be sustained.

2. Second, Apple’s stock price fallout. Apple’s stock price has dropped by a fair bit last week and this could next affect the stock price of Singapore-listed companies which has a business that supports the business of Apple.

3. Last but not least, US’ mid-term elections. I believe the results of the elections would have some effect on the global stocks market whether the Republic or Democrats gain the majority in the Senate or the Congress.

That’s it, three factors which could shape Singapore Stocks markets next. For the week, Singapore stocks markets will be closed tomorrow for Deepavali.
