First, the ongoing Trump-Kim Summit in Vietnam. Many expect the Trump-Kim Summit to yield at least some positive outcomes. And any positive outcomes are likely to be appreciated by the global stocks markets in the current backdrop where there are not as many bullish factors to bring stocks north.
Second, the cooling of US-China trade tensions. All signs are pointing to a thaw in the current tight trade tensions. A normalized trade relationships between the two largest global superpowers could only serve as a boost to the global equities.
