SEMBCORP MARINE STOCK: IS IT TOO LATE TO JOIN THE RALLY NOW?

Dear readers, Sembcorp Marine stock rallied by another 7.53% yesterday to $2.57 per share. Sembcorp Marine stock has been really a powerhouse on its own rights with its share price boosted by positive developments surrounding the company as well as speculation and now analyst reports about a possible privatization. As early as last year when Sembcorp Industries announced a strategic review of the Group, I have been buying and buying Sembcorp Marine stocks on the anticipation of a divestment (you can read the post here ). Dear readers, just some time ago, Global Yellow Page announced that it will be placing out rights shares priced at 20 cents per share in order to raise some funds for its business expansion. What surprised me was that the right shares at 20cents each was at a premium over the then trading price of Global Yellow Pages stock. Since the announcement of the rights issue, Global Yellow Pages stock price has increased. Based on yesterday’s closing, Global Yellow Pages stock are at 19 cents per share, still below the price of the rights.
