CHINESE NEW YEAR 2019: BECOME WEALTHY RIGHT NOW!

SINGAPORE CHINESE NEW YEAR
Dear readers, how has your Chinese New Year preparations been? I believe you must have been busy spring cleaning your house, buying goodies amd new clothes for yourself and family. Exchanging for new notes and going to the hair dresser and barber. The usual to-do checklist for every Chinese New Year, isn’t it?
For myself, I have pretty done most of my to-do list for Chinese New Year except for some minor tidying up to make the house look a bit neater. I have done some very thorough spring-cleaning and in the process, removed lots and lots of dust from my house.

And at the same time, during my spring cleaning, my wife and I discovered quite a lot of old stuff which are still in good conditions but which we no longer need. What to do with these old stuff? Well, the solution is very easy and simple: donate them to those who need these items.

So, my wife and I consolidated all those old items (in good conditions and which we do not need) into many big bags. We took a taxi to the nearest Salvation Army and dropped these items off so that these items would be able to find new owners who would need them.

And it helps that the donation point of the Salvation Army is in the carpark of their building so that my wife and I would not need to lug our bags to the donation point.

After depositing our donation items, we feel happy that we were able to contribute to the community in such a small but meaningful way of donating the items we no longer require to good causes. And in doing so, we also make our house less cluttered. And more importantly, in performing such a small but meaningful deed, my family and I feel grateful for the things which we have now as compared to the needy communities.

As such, I would strongly advocate that in the midst of your spring cleaning, why not take your time to examine which items could be donated for good causes rather than just disposing of them? And Do Good for the upcoming Chinese New Year? This would make us become Wealthy since we would appreciate what we already have!

You could visit this link for the details of the donation points of Salvation Army Singapore. I would be most grateful and appreciative if you could share this post with your family, friends and loved ones so that together, we would contribute to even more good for our community!
