AN ANALYSIS OF MY EXPENDITURE

Dear readers, I have been tracking my expenditure for many many years right now and doing so on a daily basis. As my analysis of my expenditures has been showing, I have been spending the highest portion of my income on one category of expenditure. Do you know that this category is?
Well, this category is none other than meals for myself and for my family. Meals outside have been getting more and more expensive in line with inflation. While it is true that there are still options for meals at $3 or lesser, the fact is that these meals are often found in hawker centres. And if the food is good, one has to queue and spend time to partake the cheaper meal.

Being of a larger build than many other men on this island, I also need to partake more calories. As such, I am looking forward to the newly-formed Singapore Food Agency’s future plans of having more food options for Singaporeans. I am wondering whether there could be more of cheaper, better, healthier and more filling foods for Singaporeans in the future.
